With over 1000hrs of training and 6 years of teaching under my belt, I am so excited to offer teacher trainings that I wish I had had.
Rooted in modern functional movement and the wisdom of yoga, my training methodology blends anatomy-informed practices, intentional sequencing, and nervous system-aware teaching. You'll learn how to move and teach in ways that honour the uniqueness of every body- yours included. Through a balance of education, exploration, and embodiment, my goal is to help you become a confident, skillful teacher who leads with clarity, care, and your own authentic voice.

20HR FUNCTIONAL ANATOMY TEACHER TRAINING
Hosted at IHF HEALTH CLUB, Christchurch, NZ — November 1–2 & 8–9, 2025
Early Bird: $399 NZD (until August 31) $499 thereafter.
This 20-hour practical immersion is designed for curious yoga teachers who want to better understand how the body actually moves—and how to teach from that place with clarity, confidence, and care. Across two weekends, we’ll explore real-life anatomy in action: joint mechanics, movement patterns, strength and flexibility, and how to build classes that are supportive, intentional, and functional. This training is for teachers who want to read bodies more skillfully, cue with purpose, and prepare sequences that build awareness and resilience—not just aesthetics.
You’ll dive into everything from joint actions and muscle engagement to functional movement patterns like push, pull, squat, and hinge. We’ll cover breath and core integration, adapting poses to real bodies, and creating flow that feels good and makes sense. You’ll also get a printed workbook, daily asana labs, creative sequencing time, and a 20-hour certificate (Yoga Alliance CE eligible).
Whether you’re newly certified or have years of teaching under your belt, this training will help you deepen your anatomical understanding, refine your voice, and feel more confident in your teaching.
